Winter Solstice: An Evening Of Storytelling,
Healing Practices And Celebrating The Season

Winter Solstice – the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere – is a deeply reflective, creative and sociable time. It offers us the opportunity to let go of the year, invoke new energies; and celebrate the return of the light-as the days start lengthening.

We will carry out activities to shed what no longer serves us, and to reflect upon what we want to create. There will be opportunity to connect to your own spiritual intuition and needs, receiving and integrating the beautiful healing energies during the Holy Fire® Healing Experiences-tailored to this time of year.

We will explore an ancient tale written to mark the Winter Solstice, explore some imaginative story-character and storytelling techniques; and create our own Winter Solstice story-letting our imagination lead the way. The workshop will be fun, creative and supportive in approach.

Content of this workshop:

  • – Introduction to the evening: our intention & introductions
  • – Getting to know the group: letting go and creating exercise
  • – Winter Solstice Meditation
  • – Winter Solstice Story
  • – Storytelling exercises: characters/archetypes/tapping in to the imagination
  • – Creating stories and sharing insights
  • – Holy Fire® Healing Experience
  • – Hot Chocolate and biscuits/social

Holy Fire® Healing Experience

The teacher doesn’t guide the Holy Fire® Healing Experience, he simply presents a short guided meditation to get the students into a receptive state of mind and then stops talking. At this point the Holy Fire® energy takes over, if it hasn’t already done so, and takes the participant through the experience. Holy Fire® energy comes directly from the Source of Infinite Consciousness and isn’t limited by the lower vibration of the teacher. Because of this, the experiences provided are of a higher vibration and are more effective, creating greater feelings of joy, peace, love, gratitude and so forth in the participant.
