A few years ago I was guided to visit the Hill of Tara, which lies about 30 miles north-west of Dublin in County Meath. Tara gets its name from Teamhair na Rí meaning ‘sanctuary of the Kings.’ It is important as the traditional inauguration site of the ancient High Kings of Ireland. In ancient Irish religion and mythology Teamhair was the sacred place of dwelling for the gods, and was the entrance to the otherworld. Saint Patrick is said to have come to Tara to confront the ancient religion of the pagans at its most powerful site.
After arriving there, I ended up visiting the Tara Open Studio, a beautifully adorned studio owned by Courtney Davis. Courtney is an incredibly talented artist who has created over 50 books and exhibited his art Worldwide. I was instantly drawn to one of this artworks called Phoenix Raising, that Courtney completed in 2012. I immediately purchased a copy of the painting which I brought back with me to London.
Courtney Davis says in his website:
“The mystical Phoenix can be found in the myths, fables, legends, and religions of nearly all civilizations and indigenous cultures throughout the world. I write ‘the’ Phoenix because legend tells us that only one Phoenix can exist at any given time. With the ability to fly through the element of Air, the Phoenix has since ancient times been a symbolic representation of Mind and Spirit. However a stronger symbolism is one of resurrection and renewal. When its current and very long life cycle is complete the Phoenix sacrifices its current self through fire to be renewed three days later. In this way it holds a similar energy to the Serpent who sheds its worn-out old skin in order to renew itself with the new skin of youth. The Phoenix releases its old and completed self because it is ready to be transformed, ready to be reborn from the ashes of the old self and emerge on a much higher realm. It is the fire of light, enlightenment, and illumination, the spiritual and alchemical fire of purification, wisdom, transformation and rebirth. It is the fire which does not burn, but which burns away”.
“Change is often a huge leap of faith. Jumping off that cliff to soar into the Universe can be a big challenge. Yes, there can be a period of plummeting and pain that follow the leap. But wings will be found to ascend to greater heights and in that soaring, in that seeing the past receding into the distance, there is the knowing that it is all worth it”.
After visiting the Tara Open Studio, we went to the Tara Hill sacred site, where I was drawn to work with an interdimensional portal that I found “hidden between two fairy trees”.
In the following days we continued our adventure and visited Glendalough, Co Wicklow, one of Ireland’s most beautiful visitors’ destinations. Glendalough is a remarkable place that during our visit inspired our hearts and filled our soul. It is home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland. This early Christian monastic settlement was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century and from this developed the “Monastic City”. Most of the buildings that survive today date from the 10th through 12th centuries.
As I was visiting the Monastic City I spontaneously regressed to a past life when I was a monk at that time. It was an incredible experience and felt that a great shift had happened after one of my guides helped me clearing that past life. As a result I was ‘awarded’ an energetic key that I collected really ignoring what I would need it for. I would find out only a few years later.
Glastonbury is considered by many the Heart Chakra of Mother Earth. It is a beautiful and very inspiring place immersed in an energy that is just out of this world.
In 2012 I visited Glastonbury for the second time, and as a result of that visit I was inspired to design my currently logo (see my website www.giancarloserra.org, top left) which brings together the Rising Phoenix and the image on the Holy Well’s headcover (Chalice Well & Gardens, Glastonbury), which depicts the Vesica Piscis, an ancient sacred symbol of transformation. This profound symbol is visible in several places in the gardens and reminds us of the duality of existence and the quest for unity.
During the lockdown in April 2020, I was guided to work with the Phoenix Rising painting in a new way, by integrating crystals and creating a Healing Crystal Grid (check my article). In the past few months I have been using this crystal grid for manifesting goals and bringing healing, with has given remarkable results.
However, on 8/8 (check the meaning of this double digit number in astrological terms) I started receiving guidance on how to use Holy Fire® energy to activate the Phoenix Raising crystal grid. This revealed to me why I have been getting all these ‘hints’ about transformation since 2012 and now I am starting to understand how these pieces of the puzzle fit together.
It requires that a group of people located in different parts of the world set an intention to work on building an energetic grid. Of course this is not the only work of this type that is happening in the world right now, there are many thousands of people that are receiving guidance to work in different ways to support the energetic shift that is happening.
Looking back I now understand why at the beginning of the lockdown I was guided to offer the Holy Fire® Experience on a weekly basis, which attracted people from all over the world. It makes complete sense now, as it was in preparation for this work.
I have the feeling that this will be a journey of self discovery for many, a journey which will offer the opportunity to heal ourselves and contribute to the current world’s transformation like never before.
If this work resonates with you, we have an event coming up on Sunday 16 August at 6pm UK Time. If you would like to join, this is the link.
